Hello there babes! I’m Grace and welcome to Basic AF! I could not be more excited to start this new adventure, so let’s get into it.

I am obsessed with this outfit. First off, this jean jacket is one of my favorite things in the world. Every girl needs a good jean jacket.

Jean jackets are timeless and a great piece to invest a little more into. A jean jacket can really take an outfit to the next level and make you look super put together and trendy. I looked for a jean jacket for a while, and Gap came in clutch with this one! The denim color is perfect and it is sooo comfortable and honestly I’m just so in love with it. I’m pretty sure this jacket is a staple in Gap’s arsenal and something they carry all year round. It’s definitely something you should have in your wardrobe, whether it’s from Gap or somewhere else. A good jean jacket will be life changing.

I picked this skirt up last year from H&M when they were really on-trend, I personally think they’re still super trendy and cute, but they’re harder to find now. I see a lot of full zipper or half zipper versions, which are also super cute. I’m so glad I decided to get this skirt last year because I’m still in love with it. It is so fun and different from my day to day outfits.

Adding my Converse really dressed it down and made it the perfect casual night out outfit. I was super comfortable and confident, which is always the goal!

This outfit was a really fun date night outfit and would be just as fun for a day in the city or dinner with friends. We (my boyfriend Matt and I) had a lot of fun walking around our downtown area before heading to dinner.

Pro-tip: If you haven’t worn your Converse for 2 months, remember to wear socks with your Converse. Trust me, your feet aren’t accustomed to them anymore and you’ll end up with heel blisters and bare feet at dinner… oops.

xx Grace
